Portal Registration with existing users

Listed below will be the steps for tenants to follow to accept their portal access invite if they already have an account registered or if they are transferring from unit to unit!

Rentvine keeps track of all user created in our software with every email that is registered. There could be plenty of cases why your tenant might be receiving error when trying to sign in to their portal. 

The following will help tenants sign in to their portal.

  1. You will receive an email invitation from your property manager company to access your resident portal. Click on the blue "Accept Invite" button to being registering your rentvine account!

  2. You will get arrive on the registration page after clicking the invitation, DO NOT Re-register your account! please scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Already have an account? Sign in"
  3. You will be taken to the log in screen at this page please enter your email that you have register already and your password.
  4. Finally, after signing in your will be prompt to accept the portal invite, please click on the bottom right corner on the blue icon that says "Accept". From here you will gain access to your tenant portal!

 

Forgot Password? No worries we can follow similar steps to get you in our system!

 

  1. In the log in screen go ahead and click on forgot password this will take you to your password recovery link.Screen Shot 2022-08-10 at 4.28.32 PM
  2. Please enter your email and complete the ReCaptcha to send a recovery password to your personal email. Screen Shot 2022-08-10 at 4.31.31 PM
    Please Note that if you type in an email address that you did not use to register to your rentvine accounts, you will not receive an email to reset your password!
  3. After sending yourself the Recovery Password email you will receive an email from Rentvine that will ask you to "Reset Password"
  4. Upon resetting your password you will be sent to another screen to enter your new password! The system will prompt you to check off the reCaptcha before continuing!
  5. Lastly, once you have reset your password and not have the ability to log in you MUST GO BACK TO THE INVITE EMAIL and repeat the process to log in again. If you do not go back into the invitation email you will receive an error saying you do no have account associated with a portal.
