How to Edit the Overdraft Override Amount of a Portfolio

This article will show you how to set an overdraft override amount on a portfolio. The amount you set here will be the amount you allow the owner(s) of this portfolio operating balance to go negative.

 

Under the Portfolio details section you will see a field that reads

"Overdraft Override Amount"

You will select "Edit" at the top right hand side of your screen

The last step is to enter the dollar amount you want to set the Override Overdraft to and click Save.

Please note if the field is set to $0.00 it will not allow Rentvine to overdraft the Operating Balance of the portfolio to pay bills associated to the portfolio. See screenshot below.

If the error above occurs and you want to overdraft the portfolio's operating balance, please follow the steps shown in this article in order to pay bills.
