How to Delete a Lease

Do you have a lease with no financial transactions and would like to remove it from Rentvine? This article will show you how to delete any lease within Rentvine

Please note that if there were any transactions added to the lease unpaid or paid you will not be able to delete the lease for auditing purposes. Even if you void the transactions you cannot delete the lease. To fix this you can change the status to closed and it will be out of the way.

1. Click on the tab labeled "Leases" on the left side of the screen. This will pull up a list of all the leases you have.

2. Next you will search for the specific lease you want to delete. You will then click on that property to pull up the lease.

3. This will bring up the lease and you will click the green actions button in the top right. In that menu you will press delete.

4. This will bring up a screen where you will confirm you want to delete the lease by typing delete in the field then pressing the red delete button.
