Do you need help setting a primary phone number, email address, or mailing address for a Tenant/Owner/Vendor Contact? Follow the simple steps below to learn how to do it.
- First from the Rentvine home screen page hover on the left side for contacts and select tenants. Please select which ever tenant you desire to change.
- Once you choose a tenant the system will take you to their contact details page. On this page you will be able to see their Address/Email/Phone at the top of the page.
- Please note that if you have more than one entry for any of these fields the system will automatically choose a primary for you. To change the selection click on the ellipsis on the field you wish to make the primary and hit on Edit.
- From the Edit menu a side bar will pop up and you will see a toggle at the middle of the side bar that says Primary please turn the toggle on and his save. Now the email will show up as the primary.
- Please keep in mind that now when running reports or doing anything related to the contact level for either Owner/Tenant/Vendor their Primary Details will pull from here, For example when running a Tenant Ledger Report the date information for the header will come from the primary information.
This new feature works the same for every contact not only for tenants!
