How To Designate Primary Address-Phone-Email on Contacts page.

Do you need help setting a primary phone number, email address, or mailing address for a Tenant/Owner/Vendor Contact? Follow the simple steps below to learn how to do it.

  • First, from the Rentvine home screen, click Contacts and select Tenants. Please select whichever tenant you desire to change.

  • Once you choose a tenant,and  the system will take you to their contact details page. On this page, you will be able to see their Address, Email, Phone at the top of the page.

  • Please note that if you have more than one entry for any of these fields the system will automatically choose a primary for you. To change the selection, click on the ellipsis on the field you wish to make the primary and click Edit.

  • An sidebar will pop up for you allow you to enable this as the primary email. This toggle will be labeled as Primary. Once selected, the email will now show as the primary email.



  • Please keep in mind that now when running reports or doing anything related to the contact level for either Owner/Tenant/Vendor their Primary Details will be pulled from here, For example, when running a Tenant Ledger Report, the contact information for the header will come from the primary information.

This new feature works the same for every contact, not only for tenants!
