Applications Dashboard

This article will walk you through customizing and adding widgets to your applications dashboard.

Main Dashboard

  • To view your applications dashboard you can click the screening tab and then click "Dashboard". This will show you the default screening dashboard and will save any changes made. This dashboard is on a per user basis so all users can customize this dashboard to their needs.

 


Configuring your Dashboard

  • To start configuring your dashboard you can click the green actions button and click on "Configure Dashboard".

 




  • This will allow you to edit the current widgets you have selected on the dashboard. The first thing you will notice is a "X" in the top right of every widget. You can click this to remove any widgets from your dashboard. Make sure to click save to confirm and changes made.





  • You also have the option to click and drag the arrow in the bottom right corner of every widget. This will allow to to edit the scale of the widget it you would like to make it smaller or larger. Make sure to click save to confirm and changes made.




  • If you click anywhere on the widget you will also be able to drag and drop it to different areas. This will allow you to move around the widgets to any position you prefer. Make sure to click save to confirm and changes made.






  • If you ever need to edit edit any of your current widgets you can click the gear icon in the top right of the widget. This will allow you to edit the current settings and filters that are being displayed. 

Adding Widgets

  • You can add an assortment of different application widget by click the green actions button and clicking "Add Widget". 

 

  • By clicking the dropdown you will be able to select from the list of widgets. This will be grouped by the different types of widgets. You will have three different groups of widget. These are the following:






  • Application List-  This will allow you to choose columns to add to the widget like applicants, date created, and status. It will also allow you to add filter by application statuses.






    • Application Group- This widget will allow you to create a graph based of certain metrics like application count. It will also allow you to add filters to sort this graph to what is most useful for you.





    • Applications by month- This will display a graph of the application count. This can also be filtered by the assignee and the date created.


Please note that you will have widgets labeled as "Custom". These custom labels are the default widgets that can be customized from scratch. You will also have other widgets that are not labeled that already have custom filters and statuses set. These are suggested widgets for useful information.

 


Example Widget Setup

  • Once you click into a widget you will see the settings. These are different for each widget and can be customized to what is most useful for you.  For this example we will select the Application List widget. You will have the following settings/filters:
    • Title- Name that is displayed for the widget on the Dashboard. 
    • Columns to Display- These are all of the columns that will show on the actual widget on your dashboard.
    • Sort By- This will be the order that the items display on the widget. 
    • Number of Items- The number of items shows on the widget before you have to click "Show More" to view more items on the list. 
    • Filters- These will be per widget. This will allow for specific widget by adding filters like assinee, creation date, and different statuses. 

 




  • When you are done adding your filters and settings make sure to click save to add this to your dashboard. This will appear at the bottom of your dashboard. If you would like to edit the position or size of this widget please view the "Configuring Dashboard" section of this article. 


Please note that every category will have it's own unique filters and settings. You can also create multiple widgets using the same category with different settings/filters.
