Week 44 | Faster lists, and rent per square foot without a spreadsheet

This week is about getting more done from the list you already have open. Leases, properties, units, portfolios, and work orders are on a new table, with saved views and editing right in the work order list. The Rent Roll and the Unit report can show rent per square foot. And vendors without a login can now open chat messages and estimate requests straight from the notice.

Enhancements

  • Work from your lists instead of opening records one by one. Leases, Properties, Units, Portfolios, and Work Orders are on a new table. Save the filters you use every day as a view, share it with your team, or make it your default, and the count updates as you filter. On Work Orders, change status, priority, dates, and who it’s assigned to right in the list, or select several work orders and update their status or type at once. If you use Maintenance Cru, the work order list also has Cru and Waiting On columns, so you can see which work orders are waiting on you without opening them. Learn more in The New Table.

  • See rent per square foot without a spreadsheet. Add the new price-per-square-foot columns to the Rent Roll or the Unit report to see actual rent and market rent per square foot, monthly and annually, side by side. They’re off by default, so add them from the report’s columns. A unit with no square footage or market rent shows the column blank.

  • Let vendors answer from the message. Vendors without a Rentvine login already get a Quick Link when you assign them a work order. Now chat messages carry one too, and so do estimate requests and approvals for the vendor assigned to the job. The link opens straight to the chat or the estimate, with no login.

As always, these updates come from feedback and needs you’ve shared with us. If you have thoughts on what would make Rentvine work better for your team, we’re listening.
