Stay Ahead of Leasing with the New Prospects Feature in Rentvine

Managing prospective tenants just got easier. In our latest update, Rentvine has launched a new Prospects tab under the Screening section, allowing property managers to track and engage with potential applicants before they submit a rental application.

If you’re familiar with “Guest Cards” in other property management platforms, think of Prospects as our upgraded, Rentvine-native version—designed for greater flexibilitybetter communication, and clearer source tracking.

What Is the Prospects Tab?

The Prospects tab gives you a centralized place to view and manage leads who haven’t yet applied. These are potential renters that enter your pipeline through various channels and can now be engaged directly through the Rentvine system.

You’ll find the tab by going to Screening > Prospects in your Rentvine dashboard.


How Are Prospects Added?

There are currently three ways to add a prospect to Rentvine:

  1. Manually: You or your staff can add prospects directly into the system.

  2. PMW Website: If your property website is powered by PMW, prospects can be captured automatically.

  3. Zillow: Syndicating out of Rentvine directly captures the prospects automatically and displays them in Rentvine.

This multi-source intake makes it easier to see where your leads are coming from and respond accordingly.


What Can You Do with a Prospect?

Each prospect record includes key information like name, source, and contact details. Once selected, you can:

  • Send an invitation to apply

  • Message the prospect via SMS

  • Send an email directly from the system

This means your leasing team can follow up instantly without switching between platforms, improving response times and increasing the likelihood of conversion.
