Tips of the Week #29

See who has portal access in Rentvine

At Rentvine, we know how important it is to ensure the right people have access to the right tools.
In this week’s Rentvine Academy video, Sales Engineer Alex Cordova demonstrates a simple setting that allows property managers to quickly see who has registered access to their Rentvine portal.

What’s new in portal management

Quick visibility into portal access

Rentvine provides a centralized way to view portal access for all contact types. This includes owners, tenants, applicants, vendors, and internal technicians. Instead of checking records one by one, you can see portal status in one place.

How to access the portal invitation view

To view portal access, navigate to Global Settings, scroll to Portals, and select Send Portal Invitation. From there, you can choose the contact type you want to review.

Once selected, Rentvine displays a list of contacts along with their portal status, showing whether access is active or still pending.

Filter out registered users

If you want to focus only on contacts who have not registered yet, you can toggle off registered users. This removes active portal users from the list and highlights only those who still need to complete registration.

This makes it easier to follow up with contacts who have not activated their portal access.

Why it matters

Portal access plays a key role in communication and transparency. Being able to quickly confirm who has access helps property managers avoid missed messages, incomplete onboarding, and confusion for owners or residents.

This feature is especially helpful during onboarding, audits, or periods of high account activity.
