Tips of the Week #27
Stay organized with reminders in Rentvine
At Rentvine, we are always focused on helping property managers stay organized and proactive. In this week’s Rentvine tip of the week video, Sales Engineer Cristian Torres walks through how to use Reminders in Rentvine to track tasks, inspections, and follow-ups across your portfolio.
What’s new in task management
1. Add reminders across the system
Rentvine reminders can be added in multiple areas, including:
-
Portfolios
-
Properties
-
Leases
-
Work orders
-
Contacts such as owners, tenants, applicants, and vendors
This flexibility allows reminders to be tied directly to the records they relate to.
2. Customize timing and frequency
When creating a reminder, you can define:
-
A start date and notification time
-
Repeat frequency such as daily, weekly, or monthly
-
An end date or number of occurrences
-
An optional description for additional context
You can also leave reminders open-ended and end them later if needed.
3. Assign reminders to the right people
Reminders can be assigned to:
-
Internal users
-
Owners
-
Tenants
-
Applicants
-
Vendors
Multiple assignees can be added to a single reminder. Each assignee receives an email notification when the reminder triggers.
4. Manage all reminders in one place
To view and manage all reminders at a global level, navigate to:
Name Card > Global Settings > Account > Reminders
From this page, you can:
-
View every reminder in your account
-
Click directly into the related record
-
Edit reminder details or assignees
-
Delete reminders that are no longer needed
This centralized view helps property managers ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Why it matters
Reminders help property managers stay ahead of recurring responsibilities like inspections, follow-ups, and maintenance reviews. By attaching reminders directly to properties, leases, or contacts, Rentvine keeps important tasks visible and organized without relying on external tools.
