Pods Toggle
This article goes over the Pods Toggle within Rentvine and how this new feature works.
Active Pod Toggle
- This Active Pod Toggle allows the user to specify the exact Pod Information they are currently viewing. The dropdown will only show the Pods assigned to the user.

Stale Tabs
- Stale tabs are when you have multiple web browser tabs open at once and have a different Active Pod than the tab you're working out of.
You will be notified of the stale tab with a Rentvine pop-up modal stating the tab is not on the most current updated Pod it was switched towards.
For example, one tab can have Eastern Estates, and the other can have Sean's Test Pod

Stay Here - This option allows you to stay on this screen and stay on the previously selected Pod. If you navigate off the page you are currently on or refresh the page, it will automatically update and switch to the most current Pod you are on
Refresh and Switch - This option allows you to refresh the tab and update the Pod information so that the tab you're on is now on the Active Pod. Other stale tabs will remain stale unless you refresh them.
- Our team does this to prevent any accidental cross-Pod actions, and this keeps lists, data, and totals more accurate for you.
- For best practice, we recommend to,
- Save or Submit before switching Pods in another tab.
- Use the Refresh button when prompted
Settings
- In your global settings, you will find an option to allow users to hide the Pods Toggle if you would like.
This can be found in the Portfolio Settings as "Enable Pods Toggle"

- If this is set to No, only users assigned to a Pod will be affected. The Pods toggle will no longer show for these users
