Fixie is your AI-powered maintenance assistant, designed to help you quickly report and resolve issues in your home.
Instead of filling out a traditional form, Fixie guides you through a simple, step-by-step process to make sure your request is clear and gets to the right person as quickly as possible.
What your residents will see

When you open your maintenance portal, Fixie will greet you with a message like:
“Hi, I’m Fixie, your AI maintenance assistant. I’m here to help get your request to the right person quickly.”From there, you’ll be guided through submitting your request.
How to Submit a Request

Fixie makes it easy to explain your issue in whatever way works best for you.
You can:-
Type or speak your issue

Upload a photo of the problem

Record a video (recommended for the best results)

After you submit your issue, Fixie may ask a few follow-up questions and suggest simple steps to try.
For example, Fixie might help with:
- A jammed garbage disposal
- Replacing thermostat batteries
- Answering general maintenance-related questions
⚠️ All suggestions are designed to be safe and easy to follow. If something requires a professional, Fixie will not recommend risky actions.

At the end of the process, one of two things will happen:
If the issue is not resolved:
Fixie will automatically submit a maintenance request on your behalf, including all the details you provided so your property management team can take the next steps.

If the issue is resolved:
Fixie will mark the request as “Resolved by Agent.”
This means the issue was handled without needing a technician or property manager, but the interaction is still recorded for reference.
For Emergency Situations
If your issue appears urgent (such as a water leak or electrical concern), Fixie may guide you to:
- Take immediate safety precautions
- Contact emergency services if necessary
Your safety always comes first.
Opting Out

If you prefer not to use Fixie, you can opt out and contact your property management team directly to submit a maintenance request.
