This article will go over the steps on how to create a work order template within the Rentvine system.

Work Order templates can be essential in your daily workflow. This helps autofill certain fields and makes creating a work order much easier for your team.
- To create a new Work Order Template, click the Maintenance tab > click Work Orders > click the Template tab>and click the green button labeled Work Order Template
- Here you can add details to the work order project, such as:
- Work Order Project Template - You can build off a previously created work Order template
- Name (required) - This will be the name of the Template itself
- Description (required) - A brief description of the work order
- Vendor Information (required) - Allows you to select a Maintenance Category, the specific Vendor, and whether this type of Work Order Template will require resident access or not
- Instructions - Additional instructions for the vendor to see only
- Priority - Select the severity of the work order
- Assignee - Select the user Assignee for the work order
- Owner Approved Toggle - Toggle if this will always be Owner Approved or not when using this template
- Publish With Owner / Tenant - Toggle if this work order template will always be published to the Owner or Tenants portal when being used
- Work Order Project Template - You can build off a previously created work Order template
- Once all required fields are filled out, you can now save the new template
- Now, the next time you are creating a work order and click the Work Order Template dropdown, you will see the newly created template
