Three updates this week: screening, maintenance, and accounting. When you approve an applicant, you can now point the other households who applied for that home to similar homes that are still open. Your internal technicians can be booked into overlapping time windows, the way vendors already can. In addition to this, a new report shows what you actually paid on a bill after a credit was applied, property by property.
Enhancements
Keep the applicants you didn’t pick. When one application is approved, the other households who applied for that home usually have nowhere to go, and you lose them. Now, from the approved application, choose Suggest Similar Homes. You’ll see each household’s details and a few open homes ranked by how closely they match on rent, layout, size, and distance. Pick the ones that fit and send. The applicant gets an email or text and chooses the home they want.
Book your techs the way the day actually runs. An internal tech couldn’t be scheduled into a window that overlapped another job, so coordinators split the day into big morning and afternoon blocks and called techs to send them to the next one. Now you can give internal work orders overlapping times, the same as vendors. Both jobs show up on the tech’s calendar.
See what you really paid after a credit. When you paid a bill and applied a credit, your payables still showed the full amount, and the real number was split across two reports. The new Net Paid After Credits report shows the original charge, the credit applied, and the net paid on one line. Group it by property to see what you paid at each address.
As always, these updates come from feedback and needs you’ve shared with us. If you have thoughts on what would make Rentvine work better for your team, we’re listening.
