Three updates this week, two of them for screening. You can cancel a lease renewal without moving the tenant out. Weighted scoring lets you decide how much each screening report counts toward an applicant’s result. And the applications list can now filter by each screening report and where it stands.
Enhancements
Cancel a renewal without a move out. Use Cancel Renewal on the renewal itself, or select several on the Renewals board and cancel them together. The lease stays as it is and never shows as vacating. Any open signature request is cancelled with it. If a renewal fee already posted, you’ll see it with a link to the bill, so you decide what happens to it.
Decide how much each screening report counts. Turn on weighted scoring and give each section of your scoring template a share of 100 points, so credit can count for more. Every applicant gets a point score, and you set the ranges for pass, review and fail. When an applicant lands in review, you can see whether they’re close to passing or close to failing.
Find the applications that need attention. Filter the applications list by each screening report and where it stands, like a credit report that errored or a criminal report that’s still pending. Hover over an applicant to see all five reports, colored the way your scoring reads them. You no longer have to open each application to find the one that’s stuck.
As always, these updates come from feedback and needs you’ve shared with us. If you have thoughts on what would make Rentvine work better for your team, we’re listening.
