Connect Claude
What you need: Claude Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise.
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Name it Rentvine and paste in the URL: https://mcp.rentvine.ai/mcp
Sign in with your Rentvine account credentials
Choose which tools to allow — select Always allow for the ones you'll use often.
Test it out. Try asking: "Which owners haven't been paid this month?" or "Show me every open work order in Phoenix, grouped by vendor."
This process takes about two minutes.
Connect ChatGPT
What you need: ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, or Edu for full read and write access. Pro accounts get read-only access. Setup is only available on chatgpt.com — not the mobile app.
Turn on Developer mode: Settings → Security and login.
Open the Plugins sidebar and click the + next to "Search plugins."
Select Create MCP App.
Name it Rentvine, paste in the URL https://mcp.rentvine.ai/mcp, and leave Authentication set to OAuth.
Sign in with your Rentvine credentials on the page you're redirected to.
Start a new chat, click the + next to the message box, and select Rentvine.
Also takes about two minutes.

Before you start:
Connect Claude to Rentvine. Add it as a custom connector, paste in the MCP server URL, and sign in with your Rentvine credentials. (See the setup guide.)
Verify the connection. In Claude Desktop, go to Settings → Developer and confirm Rentvine shows as running.
Understand the safety model. Reads run freely — asking a question never changes anything in your account. Writes always show you the exact change first and wait for your confirmation. Money never moves without a human.
